As master electrician, I was put in charge of a crew and taught new electricians how to hang, focus, patch and circuit conventionals. I worked tirelessly to rehang and focus in the beams and even conquered my fear of heights.  During the actual show, we incorporated the practice of live mixing and all cues were set on sub masters that I shifted during the run.
