Light designing Our Town was something I wanted to do for a long time, and having been in the show a few weeks prior to designing, I used a lot of my knowledge of the script to influence the mood of each scene. I used ripe ambers to contrast the blue backlight used in scenes that needed to convey an intensity or fear of the characters within the play.
