Just being on a lighting crew was the proper beginning to any designer's career. I was able to learn the ropes and work on one of my favorite shows at the same time. I learned basic lighting skills like how to hang, focus, patch, and program. This show gave me my beginning in lighting, and allowed me to take on crew head positions after this show closed.
